Machine Learning Research
My research papers and other contributions are listed in a (more or less) chronological order with links to the pdf versions. In a few cases, the publisher retained the copyright and the online version is slightly different from the official publication. Conference papers subsumed by their journal version are omitted. If you cannot find a paper feel free to contact me.
Research Work
My research area is machine learning and its theoretical branch, computational learning theory. I was fortunate enough to step of the toes of giants and get my name on research papers which overlap with other fields including language processing, handwriting analysis, music signal processing, speech recognition, computational neuroscience, and web systems. In the last few years I devoted part of my time to the design and implementation of efficient learning algorithms for learning sparse models. See the page dedicated to my work on sparsity.
